Maitland advises Seymour Pierce on acquisition by Gerova Financial

Maitland is advising Seymour Pierce on the proposed acquisition by Gerova Financial. Subject to regulatory approval, the new group comprising Seymour Pierce, Gerova Financial and Ticonderoga Securities will focus on investment banking, asset management and reinsurance and will eventually rebrand as Seymour Pierce. It will be listed on the New York Stock Exchange.
