Ryan Kisiel joins Maitland/AMO from HSBC and becomes Head of Sustain

London based Maitland/AMO, part of the AMO international network of strategic communications agencies, has appointed Ryan Kisiel as its new Head of Sustain, the firm’s dedicated sustainability practice.

Ryan joins from HSBC where he helped to launch the bank’s global net zero commitments and led on sustainable finance media relations, working in close collaboration with their extensive corporate client base. He has previously worked at the Department for Work and Pensions and was a news reporter for the Daily Mail for over seven years.

Sustain has been one of Maitland/AMO’s fastest growing practice areas. Launched in 2018 following huge client demand for ESG-related advice and services – including ESG report drafting, sustainability consultancy and materiality assessments – it has attracted clients from a broad range of sectors, such as financial services and retail. Earlier this year Sustain also took on a major new mandate for the UK’s leading environmental and social consultancy and net zero certification body Planet Mark.

Ryan Kisiel has completed the Leading Sustainable Corporations Programme at Said Business School, Oxford University. He also attended King’s College London and has a degree in History.
